I absolutely love this store! Especially their amazing handmade jewelry selection. The price range is great for gifts, plenty to choose from for any occasion or budget. This is my go to shop for everything gift and occasionally myself.

Sumi's is a great place to stop by and pick up a nice gift for a friend or loved one. They have many quality items with reasonable prices. I had both of my gifts wrapped which I was offered and a bonus since gift wrapping is not my best skill.

Super great (and funny!) gifts and the jewelry is unique--all locally! The staff is amazingly helpful. I never realized how interesting/cool jewelry was, or the way to look at it as an investment in artwork. I know about the necklace I bought. I found gifts for everyone-- from my girlfriend to ridiculous cousin.

If you are looking to treat yourself or someone you love with a memorable handcrafted gift, this is the place. I have bought gifts for friends and family including earrings for my mother that she loved and received many compliments from wearing (she is hard to shop for too!) I bought some beautiful pewter cuff links in the shape of our great state of California for my beau and a thoughtful card- of which they have a really nice selection. I love the newer location in Los Feliz because the interior has much more character like the gifts they sell. The jewelry really stands out as, carefully selected and unique. Hope I get a gift from Sumi's too!

nice store, I have a hard time finding things for my Gram-ma. She is very picky but I found great deals. She loved her purse. Don't forget to ask for a discount, they always give you a nice deal.

Owner is very bossy to people on a public sidewalk, and likes to give orders to people outside her store not bothering anyone, telling them they are blocking the sidewalk yet has a ton of junk outside her store on the sidewalk (which I doubt she has permission to do) blocking the flow more then 1 person standing there not bothering anyone.
