Awful experience. They move so slow with everything. My case has been open since 2023 and the only thing they did was give me a job coach who did nothing for me expect do a mediocre job at updating my resume. Waste of federal funds and tax dollars. Most of their communication is over text, which is a terrible way to communicate. You’re better off helping yourself. This is a waste of your valuable time on this earth.

Did this place close down? i have been emailing the person my son was assigned and never no answer. I have called nothing ... whats going on?! i provided personal information to this place and now yall dont answer the phone?! this is not okay...

My Daughter was approved for services from August 2023 to help with college it is now 2024 we were promised that her Fall semester would be paid still waiting for funds to be released this us awful all the information that was requested was send to AccessVR did receive a three weeks ago on saying documents would be send to my daughter to sign in order to release payment to the college still waiting made several phone calls and email no response. Please this is a horrible injustice to my Child.who depressed need these funds.

Case Managers never pick up their phones and barely answer emails for these special students. The only thing they can offer is Maintenance in other boroughs far out and anyone can apply for those jobs. They also don't have any help with trainings or Schools in the Bronx. They say the waiting list is years long. I've read the bad comments and they are not wrong. If you're a teacher who works with High School Special students, Do not send your students here to suffer.

I got discharged without notice. They now want me to do the whole process over and won't be on time for Fall semester. Now I only have 3 classes left to obtain my diploma and now that won't be happening. It's bad enough They screwed me over for my first semester where I am still paying off my student loan, now this. Now I have to drop school and not be able to graduate. Thank you Access-VR!

The workers here (all the workers) are unprofessional, incompetent, lazy, and rude. That's the government for you! These people will waste your time and give you different information. If you apply with them just be ready for the lack of communication,wait time and help.

It took a slight bit of communication to get a swift response. I’ve been with Access VR for two semesters now, and I must say they move very quickly once you communicate your needs. They have a directories on their website where you can easily find the people you need to get in contact with; once you send them an email, they respond within the next hour. They’ve helped me, and I’m delighted with the outcome. Thank you, Access VR, for everything.

acces-vr in the Bronx. My advice go online there better and professional programs that do help and take responsibility. My advice go online there other programs available right now that provide the best communication I found and good luck on your journey rehabilitation disability back to work.
