I ordered the Access BDD Flow X product a few months ago for my wife who is disabled and in a wheelchair. We are based in Canada and it was the most expensive option available to us with good reviews. We were sold on the product based on parts being free of charge, and the labour for the first year being covered. This has proven to be false.

We received our system with a defect in the rail that causes it to jump and jerk by a number of degrees. The manufacturer argued that this was an installation issue. I am a mechanical engineer with over 25 years of manufacturing experience, and the loads required to bend the steel part could not happen by incorrect installation. This was damaged with a very high load. The shipping boxes were not damaged either, so it would have happened prior to putting the rail in the box for shipping.

The installer spent three days trying to correct and improve the rail. There was some improvement with abnormally excessive force for an installation job, but there is still a jerk and a jump.

The experience of purchasing this system has been extremely poor.

The product looks good, but it's hard to recommend a manufacturer that sends out a damaged rail to their customer.
