I bought there my dream wool jacket and chinos. A very pleasant salesman helping a lot. Beautiful shirts and accessories for all who love style and tradition. This outfitters is the hight of Britishness, full of quality Harris tweed for ladies and gentlemen at reasonable prices. The shop is full of country attire displayed beautifully with in a traditional style store, The experience of stepping back in time in such a traditional and impressive store was absolutely lovely.

Outstanding quality. I bought a wonderful wool overcoat made in Yorkshire and it is the best coat I’ve ever owned. Absolutely worth every penny. The service was brilliant I am going back for cords.

Lovely clothing but the staff can be difficult.
The gentleman that served me kept ranting about politics!
He also ignored my shipping instructions.
I asked him NOT to use UPS for shipping to my address in Canada.
Somehow my purchase got into UPS’ hands and they failed to deliver.

Absolutely disgusting service. Being a lady shooter that is out in the field several times a week I went back into Cordings yesterday to buy the matching 3 pieces to a jacket I purchased from them instore a few weeks ago as well as a top in additional colours. The female sales assistant with very short hair is one of the worst I have ever come across; owning my own gun shop and in retail myself I have seen a few. I selected the top I had purchased the other week and asked her for it in the size and colour I wanted to have the item abruptly taken out my hand put back on the rack and to be barked dismissively no to - maybe because I wasn't in my normal shooting attire and in a more casual look due to a long travelling day from up north she felt I wasn't a client she felt she had to be courteous to. Another sales assistant then spoke to me, maybe due to the look of shock on my face and I continued to explain I had seen the item on the website. Contradicting statements were then made that it could be a warehouse item when I was told a couple of weeks ago everything is dispatched from instore. The first time I actually went into Cordings I was served by the same sales assistant and I had to ask her 5 times to get me the size out the back I wanted. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this was definitely not a nice experience after leaving the store. Prepared to spend money and had already told my lady shooter friends how much I liked the clothing I certainly won't be recommending or stepping back instore again.

Wonderful shop for classic British attire. I'd been looking for a classic trenchcoat for years in the US to no avail. They had multiple versions and an excellent staff that helped me find exactly what I was looking for.

Friendly staff and great products make for a very interesting combination. If you are looking for warm clothes for the English winter, you need to visit them.
