I'm coming up on two months since a Better Jobs Ontario workshop and I still haven't even completed an assessment to determine if I'm eligible for the program. This includes a month of just trying to setup an initial meeting with my case worker that wouldn't have happened if I didn't constantly follow up. Once the assessment meeting happened, they were not prepared to process anything and proceeded to tell me that I had to go back to OW to have my case changed before they could proceed. Absolutely disappointing and frustrating to deal with.

I’m just trying to contact my consultant to close my file and for some reason it’s really hard to get a hold of them. They just keep transferring to manager aswell and no answer. Are they even working or what? Why is it so hard just to speak with someone and close my file. Terrible service.

They don't understand the seriousness of job seeker. Helping to get a job is one thing , but they are poor in communication as well. They don't stick to their said timelines. Following up for a new job related assistance since last 2 months but with numerous calls and emails but of no use. They changed my counselor (she left Acess) and didn't inform me, hence was not able to connect with them when i needed them most(still I managed to get the job). Their manager then apologized and committed a few things to me, but yet to fulfill those. I also wrote an official mail dissatisfaction mail 3 days ago and they don't even bother to reply to the mail.

Absolutely HORRRIBLE place that will actively do nothing for you, theyll only partially go through their induction process with you in 20 minutes intervals days apart. Theyll tell you "oh you make for a great candidate since you arent at all picky about types of jobs". Then actively avoid your calls and emails and hold your referral hostage so you cant go anywhere else while they continue to do nothing. Theyll say "Send us your resume so we can go through it and edit it to help you." Then proceed to sit on it and do nothing for a month, they wont even respond to case workers.
A HORRIBLE business/service in every aspect.

Last year (I didn't use Google account then) when I just arrived to Canada as a newcomer I went to this place to get the services I needed to access the job market. As all newcomers we're very careful with sharing our private information especially SIN. I was told that I have to give it without knowing what kind of place this is. However, the lady there, instead of explaining to me and assuring me to make me feel comfortable, she replied when I asked what happens if I don't give my SIN, she said "our conversation ends here". That was very rude to me and I just left the place and never came back!

Absolute waste of public funding. My wife is new to Canada speaks fluent English has a solid back round ....we signed her up in June 2016....zero communication....zero support....no replies to emails....she's not asking for much. ..all they seem to care about is keeping her file.active...we tried 3 times to close her account and we're faced with excuses such as manager being holiday etc....ridiculous service with under qualified staff. Pure waste of funding. I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with this company especially if they're new to Canada. ..will leave them wanting to go back to their home country.
