I just wanted to highlight the attached tailoring shop/ cleaners at the Fort Irwin, CA Military Clothing and Sales. I am TDY for 3 days with a board the day I report back to my unit. The cleaners on post worked with me to clean and press my AGSU’s before I departed. 5 star service. What an asset it is to have a cleaning service on post that is willing to adjust turn around times at no additional cost to the service member.

At times, while on recruiting duty, we are far away from the flag pole and forget what a privilege it is to have services like this at our fingertips. Thank you to the attentive employees. I greatly appreciate it!!

The staff are always helpful and friendly here. The tailor attached to the shop is the same way (the woman who works it remembers everyone and what they're having done). My husband and I have visited the store many times and are always satisfied. That being said, they don't always have what we need stocked, but if they can they do tell us when they're expecting more of what we need and try to provide alternatives.

Great selection, especially considering the remoteness of Fort Irwin. As a reminder, disabled veterans can shop here and the commissary & PX, so have your VA ID on you and a quick scan by the MP at the gate gets you into any base. My Wife was amazed at the shopping opportunities for veterans, and as we enjoy the outdoors, she is definitely a fan now.

Great store for having uniforms and tactical gear. The location is pretty far for visiting Soldiers staying over at Pale Horse barracks.

Small store on a small Army base. I have seen larger.

However, this little army clothing store has a nice wide selection of army uniforms and non official army shirts and sweat shirts with and without hoods.

Nice staff too, especially beautiful Yvonne from Germany.

Good solid selections. If you are not from Fort Irwin and are there for training. Don't worry because they will have what you need.
