When they are on time for pickups & drop offs its great, but when they are late not just the 30 minute window that we passenger must wait, but when I call to get a taxi reimbursement number they (reps) will have you on another 15-20 minute hold only to give the driver time reach you. Again they tell you the same BS, I am lucky that I can take a cab, just wish that they could send my money quicker than 3+months. Yes some drivers will have a whole telephone call, play music loudly and worst get an attitude when asked to turn it down. Now GOTOBUS is a great carrier and you can track the vehicle which is nice so that can be ready and hopefully you can get a driver named MARVA she is the best.

I've been riding access a ride for over 20yrs, I've been taken on some of the most horrific trip that made no sense at all. I've been left waiting for 3 hours for my vehicle, I've missed Doctor's appointments, missed work on many days cause the vehicle never showed up and I was listed as a no show. So why am I giving it 5 stars I found the love of my life on access a ride. After years of horrible relationships and loneliness. Then one day the best man ever was there on access a ride. God can always create a miracle so out of this horrible service, God gave me a miracle.

I had applied for this service Because of my disability and inability to get around by Public Transportation. They sent a car to pick me up.And the driver on the way became extremely inappropriate By touching me and telling me how beautiful I was. I ended up calling and expressing my discomfort in what had just happened.
They told me it would take 4 to 6 weeks to For a response. However a week after I called and complained about the driver I was Denied. When I called to find out what was going on The woman I was speaking To kept asking me.Why didn't you do this?Or why didn't you do that as if it were my fault. They then denied me the opportunity To fight the decision. Unfortunately
I am not shocked that this happened. But I am very disappointed that the company decided to react the way it did.

I can get to all my appointments on time and returned home safely.
The drivers I have met have been courteous, kind, and professional.
I have never been stranded or late and always been met with care.

Forget the website.. let’s talk the service of their drivers. A lot of their drivers are foreigners. They don’t respect women not all, but a lot one driver had the nerve to tell my mother to shut her mouth!!! I wanted to Leap through the phone. They need to treat people better the drivers call you early and expect you to be ready to go when it’s not even your pick up time. Some of the drivers are just so rude. On the other hand, some of the drivers are great but they all talk on the phone while they are driving and that’s not cool.Being a driver I know better.. and so do they they just don’t care, it’s very unsafe and disrespectful. I once watch one driver, have a whole conference call with four other people while driving and talking. Disgusting.!!!! yeah, y’all really need to do better. Yeah I need to care about the people that y’all are providing transportation for I know it’s not easy to get a lot of drivers but you should never allow them to disrespect the medical patients that they have to pick up.

The driver lied on my mother and said he was waiting for her outside. Left early. Too many stories of drivers and the unprofessionalism. Rude dispatcher as well. Some of you that work at Access A Ride and abuse your authority need to experience how God and Karma works. Keep treating the elderly/disabled folks like they're nothing.The shoe could be on the other foot SOONER than you think....

Whoever makes the policy and procures for Access-a-Ride should be ashamed of themselves. The process to book a ride is ridiculous!!!! It is extremely inconvenient to have to wait to book your ride one to two days in advance. People with disabilities should be able to book a ride 24 hours a day. And based on other reviews, drivers should be compassionate as well as professional and courteous. Yet, the MTA always has their hands out for rate increases. SMH! You need to do better MTA!!!!
