I will never go and deal with VESID ever again. The counselors are only there for money. They are nasty, ignorant, and unprofessional.They refer you to places are not suitable for you (like they did with me). They hardly get back to you. Save yourself trouble and avoid dealing with these idiots. What a waste of taxpayer money!

The woman at the front is very nice and friendly. They get back to you very quick after you fill out the paper work needed. Located in the New York state office building on the 3rd floor.

If you need help getting a job as a cashier, this place is for you. If you’re need help trying to get into degree related or union jobs etc this place is not for you, and they will not be honest about that either. They can’t get you a job with a living wage, and they’re just going to try and convince you to go back to school, and take some sorta credit for encouraging you to do so. I think this place would be more effective if it became public knowledge where their money flow is, who gets kick backs, etc. I genuinely wonder how such an essential and simple sounding service can be so poorly run. Cheers to Uribe, you are a horrible human being.

Absolutely horrible service. Complete application 3 times and counselor Cusumano said she tried contacting me but I sent an email and several message never heard from her only to call the supervisor and find out my case was closed. Now working with senior counselor hopefully my car can be processed ethically. I really feel like the goal is to close the case repeatedly is to act as a deterrent from seeking services and feel discriminated against in a way but I have kids to provide for and been going through this process since 2019 but repeatedly got held up with same excuses and feel like the counselors try to call one time or never and blame it on the client. Absolutely unacceptable, horrible services, how is this improving people's lives or the community?
