So far I like this place a lot. The cognitive aptitude tests were very engaging and fun and I was very impressed with my results. My counselors there are very helpful and I nearly have a solid realistic view of what I'm capable of and what jobs and career I want to do. I'm so grateful for the extra support.

This is a layered discussion. I realize the Counselors are swapped and do the best they can with what they got.

Acces VR did refer me to a PT Job that wouldn't interfer with my SSDI. In my opinion there focus is any Job is a Job, just get client off disability.

The assment Acces VR sent me too basically said I was not ready too work. But guess what? I've been working for Federal Gov't for the last 3 yeats (That's why I now understand Red tape and resources are not always available. It took 3 weeks to replace my work computer that stopped working. Gov't Is a real gaslighting environment.) I don't know if my counselor took credit. Because I found Job on my own.

Horrible just horrible they told me they would help me get into the school of my dreams and made me go through a whole process just to find out, My worker there quit, I can’t go to the schooling of my dreams, and they basically lied to my face saying we’re going to help u with everything but ain’t help me with nothing at all.

The most godawful place on earth is access VR. It is advisable to run as fast as possible if you are assigned Stephen Russell.. His conduct is nothing short of a joke, and access VR is an inexcusable waste of tax payers' funds.

Access VR doesn't help people find jobs. It's a flat out a joke. I did over 9 job assessments and they still said I am unable to work. The consulors are out right terrible. I will never use access VR again. It's people at Access VR that like to scape goat people and discriminate and judge people who are looking to get their lives back on track with employment. Definitely stay away from this agency it's awful.

This is a terrible place, Nobody cares about you there so don't bother, unless you want to be belittled and berated go ahead. I went there to ask for help and the person that was suppose to help, compared my case to someone who had a much severe case than me. Telling me how even with his brain damage, He still had the motivation to do things and he was able to do this program. So she disregarded my own problems, because people out there have it worse. It has defiantly discouraged me a lot. I would never ever go through again. That consoler shouldn't be working, just a sad old hag.

I arrived at the access VR for the second time and spoke to a male worker there when I gave him my information there he replied that none if my info was on file I told me that it was impossible that I gave info to a lady giving the orientation he to me that the lady I gave my info to was not a worker from there facility. If you are thinking of going there to get help for college , work , housing, or etc. Don't go there it's a waste of tax payers money !
