This is a fantastic spot to go for night kayaking. There's a lovely island called Bird Island situated in the middle of the bayou where you can witness birds peeking out of the trees - an absolutely surreal sight. I highly recommend kayaking here. While the water may become shallow in certain areas, the ecosystem beneath the surface is truly out of this world. Using a light on your kayak, you can shine a light into the water and appreciate the aquatic life up close. Additionally, viewing the bridge from below is simply breathtaking.

Actually living this little boat ramp, and kinda don't want to mention it. Easy for me to get my little boat in and out. Quick, deep traverse to the Gulf.

Public Boat Ramp with pay to park on street. Many illegal boat charters and kayak tours operate from here... City requires licenses to operate tours and boat charters and none are issued to this boat ramp.

Small ramp, kinda annoying launch area if its a busy weekend due to street traffic. Parking is $25 which is a bit much compared to other launch spots

Hidden spot to launch your boat! Parking was pricey due to spring break but available. Cool spot to drop in the water.

Customer service for the web page people was very helpful however paying in the website and in the app was a Royal Pain, needs some revision on the code, it should not allow you to double pay if in error however it did and the app even thou it says you could order in advance did not let me do so. 🙁
