My waiter Jeff was excellent and really made the experience for me. He answered my questions thoughtfully and made perfection recommendations. They bring you out a little taste of soup to start and a roll with butter. The roll was salted on top, I thought it was a nice touch. I started out with the Chestnut Angolotti with truffle. It was amazing. For dinner, I had the halibut. It was cooked to perfection, soft, and melted like butter in your mouth. I also like that they have Saratoga still and sparkling water, this is one of my favorite waters. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back. It is definitely one of my new favorites.

I stayed at this hotel last week and dined at their restaurant last Friday. While the food and cocktails seemed decent at the time, two days later, 12 people from our group experienced severe vomiting and diarrhea. Shortly after, the organizer of our retreat was contacted by the New York City Department of Health, as it appears many other people also fell ill after eating at the restaurant. This raises serious concerns about food safety and hygiene practices at this establishment. While the hotel itself was fine, I would strongly advise caution when dining here. I hope the management takes immediate steps to address this issue and prevent it from happening again.

The breakfast food is excellent. (We only ate breakfast, as we were staying in the adjacent hotel.) Everything else is, well sufficient. It’s the kind of restaurant where the servers won’t notice you unless you hail them as you would a taxi cab. Even then, the servers might not stop at your table, for they’re too busy with other matters. Had the service (and price $$) met the quality and taste of the food, this place would receive five stars.
