Was here with my friends yesterday, everyone was satisfied with quality of servings and place at all. I took Granville Island Peach Sour as a beer and some appetizers hot honey chicken flatbread and fried pickles. Flatbread was very tasty, but I can’t say so for pickles, they were not bad, but still I tried better in other places, if you are really fan of them, you can take, but in other case, I’d recommend to try something else

Always a pleasure to pop by and enjoy a soothing libation. You can count on great and reasonably priced food, a good selection of beer and exceptional service…especially when Caleb is on the job. Always a fun, consistent experience in a relaxed, warm and welcoming environment!!!👏👏 oh…and they serve real pints (20oz)

After a lively group activity, we decided to unwind at The Churchmouse: A Firkin Pub for drinks and a bite. The pub’s inviting atmosphere and a featured BBQ pulled pork nachos photo on the menu drew us in. Unfortunately, what followed was a classic case of Instagram versus reality.

The service was chaotic at best—we never knew who our actual server was as different people kept attending to us. Sticking to simplicity, we all ordered the featured nachos. But when they arrived, our collective disappointment was palpable. Instead of the tempting layers of pulled pork, veggies, and melted cheese that were advertised, we received a sparsely topped plate of chips, with little more than beans and queso. Finding pulled pork became a scavenger hunt—most of us barely found a single piece, with one unlucky diner discovering only three.

When one of the rotating servers asked how it was, I pointed to the featured picture and expressed our disappointment. His response? A shrug and a quick exit.

We all agreed to eat what we could and leave. Sadly, this local pub fell far short of our expectations.

We had calamari as an appetizer. My better-half had fish & chips and I had Steak & Ale Pie. The appetizer and our meals were delicious. We always enjoy our meals here. They are extremely consistent. I would recommend their food to anyone.

First time visiting Toronto. Ran into this inviting spot. This is a restaurant that’s cozy, inviting, good food and a great taste in music. Absolutely love this place!
