Having lived in 8 different countries and being a dog owner of 4, I have extensive experience with various grooming places and can be a very fussy and demanding client. After my recent move to London, I faced the challenge of finding a groomer for my Cockapoo. My first experience with this grooming service has been fantastic. Not only my dog received a great cut exactly as I wanted, based on a photo from our last grooming in Italy, but the ambience is also very nice and friendly, and the dogs are safe. Compared to my previous searches, I can confirm that their prices are reasonable and worth the value you get. I highly recommend this grooming service to all dog owners.

My puppy Queenie has had her groom here today and she looks absolutely adorable.
She had some matts on her coat and I told the lady that I needed it cut very short on the body and just trimmed on the face and tail and they done exactly as I asked and even gave her a sweet little hair do !! The staff there are really nice ans cool and they really take care of your beloved pets!! See the photos below of how Pawsome my pup looks 🐾

I should have read the reviews…. This place is a scam. You tell me is this uneven groom worth 90£? Cause that’s what they tried to charge me. There is just a whole random chunk cut out of his moustache it’s sloppy… uneven & unprofessional. Nails weren’t trimmed, eyes weren’t cleaned his whole body was shaved except for his face. His ears are uneven, beard uneven, literally chucks just cut randomly. This groom took 3 hours. 3 hours…..We will never be back. They’re definitely kennelling the dogs then rushing the cut saying they did the most so the can charge inflated prices while rushing the groom and you end up with absolute disaster of a cut

***edit- clearly the owners are very unprofessional given their response to my review. (Also I don’t have give one star reviews to everyone- and am a local guide) It’s crazy they don’t see the massive chunk of hair missing around his nose— and somehow that’s even/ leaving the shop “perfect” to them.

The WORST place you could ever take your pet to. TERRIBLE!!! LIARS!!
I took my 10 months old puppy for a bath and nail clipping, because it was the only place i could find available on the same day and no wonder why.
My puppy was scared for his life when i went to collect him, very very agitated. But i was assured by the groomer that everything went perfectly fine so i’ve paid for their service and left the salon. After holding my puppy in my arms, trying to calm him down, i’ve noticed a big blood stain on my pants. That’s when i called them and they admitted for the first time to improperly cutting his nail. I was so upset and shocked that i’ve had no idea
about what actually had happened with my puppy, So i went back to them to ask the groomer why wasn’t i told about this? While i was waiting for the groomer to come upstairs, I’ve asked the receptionist if he was qualified, she said: “ yes, he is fully qualified “ , but when he came upstairs and was asked the same question, he said that he is actually just in training and has no experience or any qualifications whatsoever. How can they even allow unexperienced people to cut dark nails?
I was extremely worried and angry at that point so i’ve asked for a refund as they didn’t deserve to get paid for a service like that but they were not very cooperative trying to offer me a free groom instead. What person in their right mind would ever take their pet to that place again after such an experience?

After I’ve finally got them to agree to refund me, they’ve only refunded me half of the amount, which shows their remorse and commitment to providing a great service for their customers. And also that these things might happen way too often for them to bother too much to make up for their mistakes.

RESPONSE TO THE OWNER’S LIES:
The audacity to lie in such manner and say that my puppy had nails curling over is beyond disgusting and i will take further action after this response. Your staff lied to my face, to my friend which accompanied me, and you are lying in this review. I’ve never asked you to cut his nails very short, WE HAVE NEVER HAD THIS CONVERSATION!! You’ve only cut the nails from 1 paw anyway, and left the other ones the same, after the incident.
I was never told what had happened until i’ve left the salon and saw the blood on my clothes. I should’ve recorded the excuses your employees were making when i’ve returned to the salon asking for explanations. How dare you say i got angry and accused you of wanting to make me spend money on my beautiful puppy? This is just unbelievable!

After a few days I’ve received a call from the owner of this place, apologizing and explaining to me that the actual groomer wasn’t the unqualified person I’ve had the conversation with, but it was actually a 7month pregnant lady groomer that had made a mistake because she is quote “ 7 months pregnant and not feeling well”.
The way you are speaking about my puppy , trying to make assumptions that he is not walked regularly and not well taken care of, says everything about this salon. How dare you
This place should be shut down!! Another person here accused you of hitting dogs and shouting at them, and by the way my puppy looked when i went to pick him up, I actually believe it!! Monsters!!!!

After the grooming, my dog started doing these goose honking noises, the shop owner was telling me I was overacting and this is normal and I have no choice but just to bring the poor thing home asap. But he kept doing it on and off for a week it was so scary to watch and I had to bring him to the vet! It found out he was very stressed and had furs in his throat making him extremely irritated- I have no idea how he was treated it’s questionable and definitely like someone mentioned below I do not think they have good ventilation as I saw the groomer was covering herself in furs when she was collecting my dog! It was a warning sign but I didn’t take it 😢 Even though this whole drama happened 2 months ago it still gives me stress and anxiety everytime I see my poor dog I feel so guilty and sorry for bringing him there because it’s relatively cheap and close by… I wasn’t going to write this review but I think people who loves their dog need to know the truth and I’m never ever going back there 😩😠

We have been to the mutz nutz a couple of times now, and they do a fantastic job grooming our small maltipoo. The team is incredibly friendly and always take a good care of our dog, we always come back to a happy puppy!

This boutique was recommended to us by fellow dog owners. We’re very pleased with the services of The Mutz Nutz Pet Boutique (especially Molly - see photo). This was her first grooming session and we all were very nervous. Molly, 10 months, had many knots and tangles! Our groomer (Josh) took very good care of our little one, who was wagging her tail when we picked her up a few hours later. Thank you Mutz Nutz and we look forward to returning soon.
