I had a great experience working with Friends with a Cube Van to help me move a few large pieces of furniture to two locations in November. The initial booking process was easy, I called first for a quote and did the rest via email. I found their quote to be the most clear and concise compared to other services I inquired. I was really happy with how on time the movers were to the pick-up location (in Mississauga) at 9am. 3 people came (even though I was informed there would only be 2) and they were really friendly and efficient in packing up all the items. This was important to me as I was waiting for the pickup alone. They dropped off at two different locations in Toronto, at first they were a little late to the first location (I left the same time as them and made it to the first location almost an hour prior to them arriving). They apologized for the delay and made it to the other location on time so it wasn’t a big deal. It’s always a little tough when you are billed by the hour but I found the hours tracked by them to be really fair at the end. Even though the drop off location was complicated and there were other vehicles blocking the entrance, Roberto and his team made it work without a fuss which I was really thankful for. Overall, I had no issues with the delivery time, the delivery process (all my items came in undamaged) and the services provided. I would highly recommend this delivery service with their friendly group of staffs!

I've used Your Friend with a Cube Van three times now. For this move, I didn't even call around for quotes, I just called them straight away. I couldn't be happier with the service. Moving is a super stressful time, but Denis and his guys take so much of that stress away. They take extra care not to damage your things and they charge a fair rate. Plus, you couldn't ask for nicer people. Hopefully I'm done moving for awhile, but they have my business for the next one (and the one after).

Very pleased with my move from a Yorkville condo to an Upper Beaches bungalow. I had the great assistance of Victor, Denis and Andrew. They were very helpful and polite and even assisted with protecting my furniture with bubble wrap and blankets. Denis (the boss) even disassembled my bed and reassembled it. He is the company owner and was sure to deliver a great service along with his team. They arrived on time, worked in a professional and methodical way to avoid wasting time and also took the care to protect my new property by using runners. I would highly recommend their services. Everything went smoothly with my move including the reservation and customer service.

Highly recommended!! We had a fantastic experience with YFCV. From first contact with Denis, to the professionalism and expertise of the moving team, we were very happy we chose them for our move. Thank you to Victor, Jesus and (I am so sorry I can’t remember the third team member’s name), especially for being so kind, and wonderful with our 8 month old baby.

Just finished with my move and my experience was amazing! Despite all the stuff I had and the new apartment being on the 3rd floor of a walkup, the move was fully completed in 3 hours, on the dot (with only two movers!). There was supposed to be a third but they weren't available, but I was charged less for fewer movers. Staff were all very personable and friendly, and responsive to my calls. The workers moved our things quickly and carefully, without damaging anything. Highly recommend!

Well I guess we got the B team, as the reviews here don't reflect our experience.

They showed up late, without company uniform and in a borrowed truck they were not comfortable with using (the lead said this to me). They started out well enough but it went downhill quickly. One of the movers broke our headboard and my guess is he wouldn't have told me except that I saw the damage and confronted him about. Hey no big deal these things happen. Well after the quick start they slowed down to a crawl, forcing us to assist in the loading process. I observed the team "lead" riding a cart like a skateboard instead of loading the truck. My guess is this is a strategy, start quick then slow down to maximize the profit.

By the time we reached our new place, we were well behind schedule. Once we started unloading we realised there were several other damaged items - we continued finding damage for several days after the move. Myself, my spouse, and a family friend were forced to assist in unloading as we were almost out of time for the service elevator we booked.

Once we finally got everything in, I asked about the damage and specifically the broken headboard. The lead called who I beleive is the owner, who attempted to talk me into having him try to repair it. He was rude and dismissive. This is until he realised I hadn't paid yet, at which point he became much friendlier and gave me the small discount to replace the headboard. He also promised a free dinner for the trouble, a promise which he did not follow through. I'm not a fan of being lied to.

Damaged items: headboard, plant, multiple glasses and frames (it seems they dropped several boxes) leg on our couch (lied about that too)

This company came across as unprofessional and unconcerned with our possessions. I cannot fathom how they got the reviews they have on here.
